Some companies are even looking into make it a permanent option for their employees. While working from home, work life balance becomes a struggle. Three of ten employees do not even take their lunch breaks when remote working. Here are some tips to help you take those lunch breaks you so deserve.
Find a place to work in your home without distractions, where you won't be interrupted.
Communicate your work schedule with people in your household and have them think of your work time as if you are "at work" and not physically there at home.
Enter your lunch time on your calendar as a reminder to step away your workstation and take your lunch.
Make your lunch meal ahead of time so it's ready when you go for lunch.
Pause, take a breathe and repeat. Give yourself a break. Change takes time to get use to. With time and good practice, you'll find your work life balance.
Ergo well. Feel well.
